Our goal
Safestride is a platform that aims to combine the routing mechanisms of BING with local DC Crime data. Below are some of the writing assignments we've completed to give more details on our goal.

This is the first writing assignment. We worked to create an elevator pitch for our project.

This is the second writing assignement. We worked to describe the technical details of our project.

This is our third writing assignment. We combined previous assignments, and additionally included user stories and technical mockups of our project.

In writing #4, we worked to add to writing #3. We updated our mockups, and additionally included a section describing the use cases of our project.
Software Architecture
This diagram gives an overview of our software architecture. Our fronetend was developed on XCode to be rendered in Swift. Our Backend is hosted on AWS, and contains multiple API endpoints to communicate with our frontend. Additonal processing is done on the backend to (1) access new crimes, (2) calculate walking routes between destinations, and (3) manage user-reported crimes.
